Getting Answers to
Your Questions About the Future
Do you have
a question about what's going to happen in the future? If so, I
may or may not be able to answer it using astrology, depending on
the nature of your question.
If your
question is specific, I can probably answer it.
An example of a specific question would be “Will I receive a pay raise
in my current job by March 31?”
If your
question is general, I cannot answer it. However, I can
provide other help related to your question.
An example of a general question would be "Is my financial situation going to
get better?"
Specific Questions
If you have a
specific question about something, I can probably do a horary. When
I do that, I interpret the chart for when a question is “born”—when
I first hear it or read it and understand it. Unlike most of the
astrology that I do, horary is a very cut-and-dried method. It often
produces a “yes” or “no” answer, and it is often accurate. Horary
can give specific answers to most, but not all, questions that are
of a specific nature.
When I do
horary, I will basically give you one of the following answers:

Yes.

No.
-
Circumstances
will have to change before the outcome can be known.

Yes.
However, you may unintentionally change your attitude, so the
question that you asked may not be the one that you want answered.

No. However,
you may unintentionally change your attitude, so the question that
you asked may not be the one that you want answered.

You have asked
the question too soon. You can try asking later if you want.
-
You have asked
the question too late. Either the question is no longer relevant
for some reason, or there is nothing to worry about.

General
Questions
Astrology is a
tool. It can help you accomplish what you want, but astrology per se
doesn’t do the work, any more than a hammer does the work in
carpentry. A hammer by itself doesn’t make things happen. Likewise,
astrology by itself doesn’t make things happen. You make things
happen, in a mutually influential interaction with other people,
events and circumstances in your life.
If you ask a
general question about what will happen in the future, I could make a
prediction, but I don’t know whether it would be accurate or not.
One reason that I don’t know is because the choices that you make
are going to affect what happens in the future.
If I made a
prediction about a general question, it would encourage you to wait
for your future to happen to you. It would encourage you to play a passive role in your
life--to feel less powerful, not more powerful. You’d be less
inclined to think about which actions are within your power to take,
and you’d be less inclined to recognize the healthy choices that you
could make.
I want to help you be happier
and more fulfilled.
I
don’t want to encourage you to be passive or use less of your power.
If you do that, then you’re likelier to be less happy, not
happier. You're likelier to feel less fulfilled, not more
fulfilled. On the other hand, if you
use more of your
power, then you'll probably feel more powerful and more fulfilled.
So that's what I
