Sorry, but I don't know of any
way to glean information using astrology about what to check
when you view it. With respect to getting the farm, as you said,
I can only comment on general trends in answer to the particular
question that you had asked. (Oftentimes, more specific
questions can be answered using horary astrology.

technique, click here.)
Uranus is passing over your
Mercury (thinking, communication) in the 3rd house of contracts,
so opportunities or unexpected changes pertaining to property
negotiations could pop up suddenly. This is in effect from
roughly February of this year till February 2005, peaking a few
times in between, including next month. Realistic Saturn in your
8th house of other people's assets (lenders, people providing
good will, etc.) trines Neptune (ruling your 4th house of real
estate) from roughly July of this year till July of next year,
peaking in September, December and May. This can help you put
solid foundations under any castles in the air--help you make a
dream come true rather than leave it in the realm of wishful
thinking.
In addition, optimistic Jupiter
sextiles your Neptune from roughly September till July, peaking
in October, March and June, and it's possible to seize
opportunities involving real estate and build on them or expand
on exisiting situations, provided you don't get overconfident,
overextend yourself, or overlook any less-pleasant realities.
Also, Jupiter opposes your 4th house cusp (beginning) in
September and October. Opportunity could challenge your
customary approach to handling property then, and buying a farm
would certainly be in keeping with that idea.
The Saturn and Jupiter transits
together can make for a nice mix of "Let's be cautious" and "I
can do it!" enthusiasm when considering making such a major
commitment to a dream.
I don't see anything
astrological that suggests any particular difficulties in buying
property in the near future. It certainly can't hurt to check
out the possibility further. I don't know how quickly things
might move toward closer if you were to make a bid on the farm
in early July, but trends look pretty favorable for buying some
sort of property after this month, especially after August.
One note of caution: Idealistic
Neptune is drifting through your 3rd house, squaring off with
your natal Neptune (which rules your 4th house of real estate).
Therefore, if you make an offer on the property, make a special
point to look at the "fine print" of any deal, and consider the
drawbacks as well as the positive aspects of whatever would be
involved before signing on the dotted line. Good luck from here.
